We are pleased to welcome back Magdél Wyser, to the Contemporary Art Fair Luzern 2025. After presenting her work at last year’s fair, she returns with a new selection of paintings that continue her exploration of color, texture, and emotion.
Evolving Artistic Focus
Originally from South Africa and now based in Switzerland, Magdél Wyser has transformed her adopted home into both a source of inspiration and a creative sanctuary.
Over the past year, Magdél has further refined the balance between color and texture in her practice. Her recent works highlight contrasts—between light and shadow, vibrancy and calm—resulting in compositions that feel both dynamic and contemplative.

The Role of Color and Texture
Color remains central to her artistic language, serving as a direct expression of mood and atmosphere. Texture, built through layered brushstrokes, gives each painting depth and physical presence. Together, these elements invite viewers to engage closely with the surface and the emotion behind each work.
At the Contemporary Art Fair Luzern 2025, Magdél Wyser will share her latest works in the fair’s intimate and welcoming setting, joining an inspiring lineup of international and local artists.
