is sadness & grief and this is how I transfer certain my personal qualities to the canvas",  says painter/portraitist Tigran Asatryan

 

Tigran Asatryan was born in 1968 in Yerevan, Armenia.

1979 - 1982 studied at H. Kodjoyan Art School Yerevan, Armenia

1982 - 1986 studied at P. Terlemezyan Arts College, Yerevan, Armenia

1987 - 1993 studied and graduated with Gold Medal from the State Academy of Fine Arts, Yerevan, Armenia

1997 – cofounder and member of Realist Artists’ Union, Yerevan, Armenia

 

Exhibitions:

1995 - 2003 participated in national and international group exhibitions in Armenia, Russia, Canada, Egypt, Lebanon, Germany, Qatar, and USA.

1995 - Science Academy of Russia, Moscow, Russia

1996 - Hilton Ramses, Cairo, Egypt

1997, 1999 – National Gallery of Armenia, Yerevan, Armenia

1999 - AGBU, Demirdjian Center, Beirut, Lebanon

1999 - The cultural center of “Sl Moussassa al Arabia Li Sakafa Wil Foundation”
