Beyond the Traditional Gallery Wall: Discovering Art in a Digital Format
Not every artwork needs to be displayed on a traditional gallery wall to be discovered.
At Kunstmesse Luzern 2026, we're introducing something new: the Digital Wall, a curated selection of artworks presented alongside the physical exhibition at the Kornschütte.

It's a way to bring more artists and different artistic perspectives into the exhibition, without being limited by the available wall space.
More Artists, More to Discover
One of the challenges of organising an art exhibition is deciding how to make the best use of the space. There are always more interesting artists and works than a venue can accommodate.
The Digital Wall gives us the opportunity to present a wider selection.
The Digital Wall presents a changing selection of artworks, bringing together different styles, techniques and artistic perspectives. From abstract compositions to figurative works, each piece offers something new to discover.
Some pieces may immediately catch your attention. Others might make you stop for a second look. That's part of what makes discovering art interesting.
Meet the Artists on the Digital Wall
The Digital Wall brings together artists from different countries, backgrounds and artistic traditions, each offering a distinct perspective.
Among the participating artists are Karel Vereycken, Mario Gnüchtel, Manuela Eibensteiner and Caroline Biner, alongside a wider selection of artists presented in collaboration with Gallery Elfouly, our partner gallery for this year's Digital Wall.
Together, they offer visitors an opportunity to explore different artistic approaches and discover artists whose work they may not have encountered before.
Interested in an Artwork? Discover the Artist Behind It
Seeing an artwork is often just the beginning. Each work is accompanied by information about the artist and the piece itself, including a QR code linking to the artist's website or the representing gallery.
If something interests you, you can find out more, explore other works or get in touch directly.
We wanted the Digital Wall to offer more than a slideshow of beautiful images. It should give visitors a simple way to connect with the people who create the art.
Digital Art Presentation Alongside Original Works
Of course, seeing an original painting in person is a different experience. You can appreciate its texture, colours and scale in a way that a screen cannot fully reproduce.
The Digital Wall isn't intended to replace that experience.
Instead, it adds another dimension to the exhibition. It allows us to introduce artists whose original works may not be physically present and gives visitors the chance to discover art they might not otherwise come across.
For us, the two formats belong together. Both are about making art accessible and creating opportunities for artists and audiences to connect.

The Digital Wall will be presented for the first time at this year's Kunstmesse Luzern, alongside the exhibition of original paintings, sculptures and other artworks.

If you're visiting the fair, take a few minutes to explore it. You might discover an artist you haven't heard of before, a work that stays in your mind or something you'd like to know more about.
We look forward to welcoming you.
