Yvonne Präger
"I've always been fascinated by how the deliberate use of color, light, and shadow can create dimensionality in paintings. This fascination evolved into a passion that has significantly shaped my artistic expression."
Yvonne Präger was born in Essen, Germany, and grew up near Cologne. She completed her studies as a Design Technical Assistant with a focus on graphics and started working in advertising agencies. Since 2008, she has been living in Switzerland. In Mireille Desroches' atelier, "Aux ateliers de Mireilles," located near Lausanne, she began to delve deeply into oil painting and participated in multiple group exhibitions.
A subsequent move to Thurgau marked the beginning of her studies in Contemporary Painting at the Freie Kunstakademie in Überlingen. Realizing a personal milestone, Yvonne inaugurated her own art studio in Berlingen, Switzerland, in January 2020.
