Hovnan Sargsyan, born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1966, is a recognized and esteemed artist in the global art scene. His artistic journey began with studies at the P. Terlemezyan Arts College in Yerevan, Armenia, from 1981 to 1985, followed by further studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts from 1990 to 1995.
